The hits are seriously stacking up for Outright Records. Now on to their third release they welcome another band of top artists that have dancefloor cuts primed and ready for the floor.
Keeping the energy levels up Outright Records have lined up bangers exclusively from France and Italy by way of Vitess, Djebali, Politics Of Dancing and the artist who is at the center piece of our premiere today Andrea Caioni.
‘Retro Circles’ from Andrea bangs from the outset but with a softened house vibe that sucks in the ear almost immediately. Soaring pads and twinkling synths dance around a deep bubbling bassline that really picks up the energy levels and keeps there for the duration.
Also on the bill is a trio of French acts that have made a massive name for themselves pumping out groove laden bombs. First is DJebali and ‘Simply Letters’ makes fanstastic use of deeply tuned bassline props up the shimmering metallic synths and snappy percussion. The second French act to roll out the goods is Politics Of Dancing and means business on ‘A Story To Tell’. Rolling drums bob and weave in amongst nicely gnarled bass tones while vocal snips make the space in between pop.
Rounding out yet another fine VA from Outright Records is rising star Vitess who turns in the high-octane banger ‘Ibys’. What starts as a breakbeat weapon soon adds a pounding 4/4 kick to really push it into the stratosphere. Ravey synths hit high in the mix to make ‘Ibys’ one of the more upfront cuts on the VA and with good cause. Acid wiggles and record scratches keep adding to the energy levels and there is no doubt that this as well as the rest of the tracks on this fine release will feature in many peak time sets.
