Following on from Adam Shelton and Subb-an’s recent Trommel mix, we bring the premiere of Subb-an’s latest release on Pleasure Zone.
Subb-an debuted on the label on Pleasure Zone 025 with label founder Diego Krause earlier this year. Now, the co-founder of One Records label releases a three-track solo EP titled Another Time.
A-side ‘Another Time’ is a peak-time roller with rolling drums, snappy hats and claps. B-side ‘Overdrive’ is a dreamy slice of house music. First heard in Adam and Subb-an’s B2B at Sunwaves on Friday night on Stage 1, the drums, kicks and snares combine perfectly with the dreamy soundscapes.
Trommel has the premiere of B2, the dub edit of the ‘Overdrive’ original. All the elements from the original are there, all that changes is the extra bit of ‘oompf’ and kick in the low end.
