Semi Delicious are using some heavy artillery stuff, welcoming Subb-an to their already massive roster. 4-tracks from him + the remix from the label owner Demi Riquisimo. And this particular one is the most interesting for us today.
The original of “Wobble” is something you could easily expect from Subb-an – a solid, deep-but-at-the-same-time-banging roller. Perfect for long parties. Demi Riquisimo is adding his spin to it with his signature sounds and also his signature ability to turn everything into some ravey screamer. Decide what you like more – the B-side is totally under “Wobble”.
And the A-side is opening with my second favorite track on the release – “Liquid Sun”, another deep banger, with the most interesting part starting at the 4:26 mark. “Contact” and “Balance” are doing a great pairing for the A1 on this side, as everything on this record, trying to balance between energetic moves and some lazy stomping.
The record is not what you could expect from Semi Delicious, but still has the potential for a very quick soldout. You can help it, by doing your pre-order duties on Juno, Deejay, or Decks.
