Young Adults, the name, you already should know, lands on the new, thirteenth edition of Mood Waves. With a great piece, must say!
“U Need Help” is one of those tracks that leaves you wondering after listening. The structure is almost liquid here – the broken parts are mixed with the straight ones, sometimes, they are on each other, putting some trippy and psychedelic effect with all those voices in the back. Lovely, innit?
“Porchetta” continues the vibe here. Some haunted forest or anything that is close to the atmosphere of being watched while walking alone. “TOR” is a bit funnier and more melodic piece with a feel that it could be bigger. And also “Voicemail” – I guess, if you had that kind of voicemail on your phone, you’d be freaked out. What’s not to like, right?
A VERY trippy EP, but it has something fascinating (almost hypnotizing) inside. We got our hands on it even before the appearance of the official artwork. You’ll have a chance to hear it in full after buying it at Tanzform very soon.
