Denver’s key figure Vek Neirbo raises the bar with his latest project Hypnodose Records—the newest addition to the label market and event-planning sector. A project close to his heart, Hypnodose aims to bring hypnotic grooves to dance floors and beyond through carefully curated record releases and recurring events. The label’s first release, Soul Lift EP, features three dancefloor-ready bangers crafted by Chicago hero Max Jacobson, along with a remix of the title track by Romanian legend Lizz.
Today’s premiere is none other than Lizz’s reinterpretation of “Soul Lift” on side B1—a crowd-moving banger that keeps you wired with its magnetic energy and throbbing rhythms. Mystical female vocals add an alluring charm, while quirky synths and chunky snares infuse the track with a dark, mysterious allure.
Flipping back to the A-side, Jacobson’s “Moving” on A1 sets the tone for the EP, embodying the label’s identity and mission with hypnotic grooves that carry you away and let your imagination roam. “Communication Breakdown” on A2 sweeps you into another world with outer-space-like synths and a smooth melodic line that define the track’s ethereal feel.
Last but not least, “Soul Lift” on side B2 is an all-in-one journey, balancing introspective and dynamic moments while seamlessly transitioning between its contrasting elements.
