O’FortyFour lands on Twig – the label, that saw the glory of other Ukraine-related producers such as Volodymyr Gnatenko, Sasha Zlykh, and Trippsy. Prepare yourself for a deep and buzzing journey.
Starting with “After Hours Messiah”, where O’FourtyFour takes his buzz to the maximum limits. After the intro in the first minute, the track takes no prisoners and evolves into something alienistic. I saw people were literally shaking with a little scare after the sounds at 1:30, so consider that.
“Cold As Funk” shares the same mood with our main track here, but adds a bit more mayhem to the composition. “Texcotzingo” has a bit more of a stripped-down mood while “Hoodlum On Acid” takes us to the territory of broken beats. All of that is coming with O’FortyFour’s signature buzz, don’t forget about it.
A very promising record, I would say. And since Twig is not a label, that you can see in stock for a very long time, you better run to Juno, Deejay, Decks, or wherever you’re buying your wax.

This article was written in Ukraine. Ukraine is in the middle of the war with Russia right now. Would be great if you could donate to the biggest Ukrainian volunteer fund here. Also, you can pick any music initiative, that is also trying to help from our list here. We’ll be stronger together.
