Premiere: 3 – Drea – Recalibration [LETM004]

Hailing from Switzerland, and founded in 2011, L.E.T – Les Enfants Terribles is a Zurich based event outlet and record label as well as a booking and management agency for the artists of their circuit.

Over the years, L.E.T. has established a collective of artists beyond the city of Zurich with a global overlook, with Andreas Ramos, Kalabrese, Christian Schiemann, as well as Wareika figuring as part of the roster.

Responsible for being part of the movement that developed and pushed forward the Swiss scene during the last 10 years, L.E.T. parties saw the likes of Zip, Baby Ford, Anthea, Oshana, SIT, Mountain People, Wareika, and many others as guests, as well as three open-air festivals under the MdR – Maison des Rêves brand.

Returning after a short hiatus lasting since November 2019, and with probably an almost perfect timing given the much-anticipated end-in-sight for the COVID-era, the Swiss crew created a nice series of projects: the first arriving on our screens (and speakers), is the return of their record label, with the fourth release cooked by Drea, here in today’s premiere and soon available in all digital stores.

The Solothurn-born artist delivers a finely crafted and deep EP and in particular, on ‘Recalibration’ subtle and raw elements are combined together to shape a hypnotic and versatile roller that would work perfectly on many sound systems. Drea is no stranger to minimal shades and his CV shows releases on labels such as Variété Music, Inwave, and Moira Audio Recordings. His music found its way into sets of tINI, Barac, Vincentiulian, and Tulbure, and this EP should be no different.

But the team behind L.E.T. is not stopping here. In the pipeline, there is a proper celebration for their 10 years in the business, with a summer compilation featuring many artists who have been guests at their events: among them, SIT, Cesar Merveille, Varhat, Wareika, Alci, Kalabrese, Olga Korol and many more.

When events will come back, the plan for the crew is to move from cosy hotspot Friedas Büxe to Swiss institution Supermarket and we are very much looking forward to what this would mean for the 10-year celebration event that will follow the compilation.

Keep your eyes and ears peeled for L.E.T. return via their Bandcamp and Facebook pages.
