Romanian artist and Misbits record store owner and record label co-founder Miss I is, as you might expect of a keen follower of many genres. With her first loves being house, techno, and electro she soon fell for the softer sides of electronic music. Discovering a serious affinity for ambient, downtempo, and more thought-provoking musical slants Miss I soon paved a multi-faceted path into the work of music. One that would ultimately shape her as an outrageously talented selector who offers all manner of depths within her record bag and subsequent DJ sets.
In a slight departure from our normal club-focused podcasts, we find Miss I out on the Platforma Wolff terrace where she is slowly but surely edging the late afternoon crowd ever closer to the the more peak time hours of her Misbits party. One listen to this mix and it is easy to cast your minds towards a sun-drenched August filled with smile-inducing slow jams, dewy ambient gems, squelchy disco, and the type of vibe that only an artist with an unfathomable knowledge and dedication to music can provide.
