It is hard to believe that the last time we spoke to Franco was back in October when we presented his Free Download track “When Anana Met Mango”. Since then there have been many tours that have taken Franco around the world and back again. The last time we saw him in action in the flesh was at last year’s FRRC OFF party where he squared off against Ricardo and Raresh for a very special b3b that stretched well into the morning. A partnership, amongst others that speaks directly to the lineage Cinelli has in the underground that has seen him for some time being an important figure in the world scene.
As well as his prowess as a selector his work as a producer is just as impressive. With his discography stretching way back to the minimal heyday, featuring several artist albums, a raft of solo releases that run from the early 2000’s and show no sign of stopping as he has just dropped a slew of remixes and has even more waiting in the wings.
Franco has an undeniable link to UNUM Festival and with his track of the same name being one of 2022’s finest club tracks the ode to the Albanian gathering being somewhat of an underground anthem, if ever there was one. Ahead of his return to those golden sandy shores we are proud to present a live recording of his set from another clubbing institution. This time it is his own homeland of Buenos Aires and the sprawling open air Avant Garten that plays host to Franco and his mastery of the groove.
