Looking at the discography of the one and only Dutch man of mystery San Proper it is clear to see why he is so cherished. Perlon, Rush Hour, Dekmantel, Cynosure have all benefitted from his freeform musical tastes and performance methods. A wild man at heart but a kind soul at the same time he holds music very dear and he takes every opportunity he can to express himself.
As well as being a tastemaker, a club designer, label head, fashion guru, lifestyle coach (perhaps) he is one hell of a DJ and we have been looking forward to welcoming San to our podcast series for a while now. There are few artists that can manage to glue together disco, minimal, house and seriously leftfield moments the way San Proper does. That’s why he is the one known as San Proper…
