Really where do we start with introducing Frenchman Traumer? I think we can safely say that 99.9% of the people reading these words and listening to this mix have heard of Traumer. However, for those at the back I will keep it brief. Romain Reynaud is a machine, not in the literal sense of course but his musical output is so on point and so deft that we wonder if he is human at all. Having been putting out music for the last decade under the name Traumer his star has gone supernova in the last 5. Just a few days ago we presented a free track of his in support of his Cosmo Records extended EP ‘3 Years Ago’ and his various imprints continue to raise the bar of minimal house.
If you have seen him on the decks and if you were lucky enough to be at Summer of Love in Manchester a few months ago you will know what we mean. It deosnt matter if he is playing as Traumer, under his breakbeat alias Jinger or playing back to back with Shonky and Dyed it is impossible not to be swept away by his unstoppable energy. It is his unbelievable skills as a DJ and selector that now call upon and we kick off October with 90+ minutes of music that quite simply has that je ne sais quoi…
