After their mammoth 6 city tour of Europe’s finest beat emporiums Un_Mute lands back in Miami this week with an almighty schedule over the next few weeks. Their tour has consisted of FOLD in London, Hoppetosse in Berlin, Barcelona with ID and MAD Radio, After Caposile in Venice, Trabendo in Paris and finally Graadina Monteoru in Bucharest. However, home is where the heart is and they have a huge couple of weeks ahead of them.
Kicking off this very weekend making a timely return to Miami will be the combined forces of Raresh and Praslea aka Praslesh on Saturday, May 14th. This duo always blows up the party wherever and whenever they appear. Obvious minimal roots and Romanian sounds are a must but they also have much more besides that in their bags. Forgotten house gems, Garage bangers and techno all get a run out at high precision speed during their all night long set at ATV Records.
Not a week goes by without another huge event and they don’t get much bigger than Get Perlonized on Friday, May 20th. Given a whole weekend to run its course there will sadly be no Ricardo Villalobos due to an injury while in Switzerland for Caprices Festival but there will be many superstars making up the ground. Bruno Pronsato will perform live while Margaret Dygas, Sammy Dee and Zip will be bringing the sounds via their record bags. This is one hell of a lineup and if you close your eyes you could be mistaken for thinking you were in CDV, Hoppetosse or Panorama Bar with an array of artists like this.
There will be a week’s break from the madness (or will there?) before the third in a long line of huge parties unfolds on Friday, June 3rd. Who else to keep up the sky-high quality bar than RPR man Rhadoo. His fabled long form sets have always entranced and bemused and while details are thin on the ground where this epic party will take place and the finer details involved the headliner is all you need to know at this point. Un_Mute have had an unreal beginning to their summer program alongside close friends in Europe but this is a timely reminder that they are back in Miami and they mean business.
