With the year drawing to an end, Texas-based record label ubiyu [you-be-you] reflects on a year of boundary-pushing releases and exhilarating showcases. To close out 2024, they’re bringing London’s own Enzo Siragusa—DJ, producer, and mastermind behind the renowned FUSE party brand—to Austin to headline their final edition of ubiyu x Night on December 6. From the legendary Printworks to iconic Ibiza clubs, Enzo brings a reputation for unforgettable, immersive experiences, making this a fitting close to ubiyu’s standout year.
Building on this momentum, ubiyu is thrilled to announce its latest release: UBUD011 – Grant Dell’s ‘Swag Daze’ EP. Known for his genre-defying fusion of Chicago house and UK tech-house with gritty, low-slung basslines, Grant Dell dives deep with a collection of original tracks produced between 2003 and 2006. ‘Sarios Groove’ and ‘Desert Cry’ were crafted at the iconic Swag Records studio, a landmark of the UK underground scene, while the remaining tracks were recorded at Dell’s studio in Croydon. The result is a time capsule of UK house energy, seamlessly bridging the past and present.
Listeners can also dive into Grant Dell’s sound with ubiyu Mix Series 019, featuring an extended exploration of his signature style—a fitting prelude to this EP release.
With only a brief pause to recharge, the ubiyu crew heads to Montañita, Ecuador, January 9-13, 2025, for the highly anticipated second edition of Trotamundo, where they will team up with Un_Mute and ReSolute at Lost Beach Club.
