As well as being a home for his own incendiary productions, Binh’s Time Passages imprint has given many of his peers a platform to present their niche electronic vision. Since the first edition, Binh has been putting out wonky bombs that have devastated dancefloors the world over. His “Basic Trance Induction” set the tone for a label that never compromises on quality and certainly not its musical direction. Since that opening salvo back in 2014, Time Passages has seen releases from the likes of Space Travel, Onur Özer, Evan Baggs, Z@p, and most recently Latress with last year’s “Pyramid” EP.
To celebrate a milestone decade in action, Binh and his lauded imprint have embarked on a sprawling tour taking in some of the world’s finest dancefloors. This in itself is a huge undertaking, but factor in the raft of other club and festival dates that Binh navigates on any given weekend and this makes for one hell of a year for the Berlin based artist. Kicking off in earnest back in February at Belgian institution Fuse, the party soon moved through Basement in New York, INPUT in Barcelona, and recently their party in Rome at Magick Bar featured Sancra, Melina Serser, e/tape, and of course the bossman himself.
One city that is dear to Binh’s heart and central to his sound is London, a place that has been welcoming him with open arms for some time means that there is an almighty party in the pipeline for Saturday, June 8th. Taking place at a venue that is pivotal to the minimal leaning, electro sound is that of FOLD. Joining Binh will be a team of artists that have more than proved their mettle and they are Bobby., Colin Chiddle, Lumiere, Vass, and Vladimir Ivkovic. As well as the main action taking place at the industrious locale of FOLD, there will also be an after party at one of the cities most loved day time spots – Starlane Pizza Bar. For this section of the celebration the lineup is yet to be announced, but we can all agree that it will go down in a serious way.
