There are few grander locations for a rave than Casino Sanaia in Romania. Having been built in 1913 this ornate building has been lovingly cared for over the years and although has not been used for gambling since the 1940’s is now home to an event and conferencing venue of epic proportions.
Having utilized this stunning venue back in March for its 18th birthday party with Sonja Moonear, Atipic, Gescu, and Prichindel Sunrise Events will again be transforming its decadently furnished rooms on Saturday, December 21st. This event comes at the end of a very busy period for the long-running minimal party crew as they have delivered events with some of the genre’s originators and innovators including Ricardo Villalobos, stadium raves with Marco Carola and showcases in Amsterdam, Moscow and in their home city of Bucharest.
Attention now turns to their Sinaia season closer and they couldn’t have chosen a more fitting array of artists to prove why Sunrise is one of the finest minimal promoters in the world as they have lined up none other than the RPR Soundsystem trio of Rhadoo, Petre Inspirescu, and Raresh. In solo mode, any one of these artists is enough to light up any party but collectively the presence and journey of sound is unlike anything you will hear outside of an inform Villalobos. Having literally just rattled fabric’s room one to its foundations with an all night long set the triple team will be in sparkling collective form come casino time.
Supplying the support will be Tulbure, an artist that is consistently charged with setting the scene and tone for the biggest names in the business and not just those found in the Sunrise stable either. Another expansive side of events that Sunrise throw at Casino Sinaia is the visuals that seem to bleed and twist out of every conceivable knook and crack of the intricately paneled surface of this impressive periodic venue.
