For an artist that is so inexplicably linked to Berlin and its unquestionable history with minimal and micro music, Ricardo Villalobos has performed in the city only once this season and that was at his long-running New Kids On Acid party at Watergate. That being said the Chilean maestro will be making another appearance before the year is out on Saturday, December 14th at a venue that has not been blessed with a Villalobos mind journey in some time – Tresor. Ricardo was instrumental in the huge success of the club in its previous incarnation which he also helped to bring the curtain down on in 2005 alongside Richie Hawtin.
The fact that he has featured so little at the club in its most recent incarnation but regardless this is a very special occasion to see him perform at such a legendary venue. As if the man himself is not enough, Ricardo and the Solid AM team will be joined in Globus by Fumiya Tanaka, Dorian Paic and Digby. Meanwhile in the cavernous Tresor main room will see Cassegrain, Janina, and Sebastian Bayne taking care of business during the half-day session. This is a party that you most definitely need to be a part of, just make sure you keep your eyes peeled for news of how to get your hands on tickets.
