It’s full steam ahead for Berlin party starters Planet Pleasure, as we announce details of their next event.
When dance floor restrictions were lifted in the city last month, the promoters wasted little time to get back up and running. The relaunch took place at their new home RSO, a former Bärenquell brewery in Berlin-Niederschöneweide. It was snapped up by the team behind previously closed Griessmuehle and Planet Pleasure have taken on a monthly slot.
Programming is proving to be pretty slick from the off. 18th March saw a standout session featuring Giammarco Orsini, John Dimas, Oshana (live) and Sibil alongside the residents. April’s edition is just as appealing, but for different reasons.
Musical magician Sweely is first on the list. The French artist continues to cram in a busy schedule, a popular choice for events across the continent. No surprise really, sporting a fine skill in his craft, consistent delivery of a sound that is much his own. Energetic, intricate and tuneful, a blend that never disappoints for a dance.
Slow Life co-founder Laurine also plays. Berlin based, a mainstay member of one of the cities much respected labels, its an opportunity to catch her flying solo. London crate digger Loa Szala also joins with rubi*, alongside residents Thabo and Thalo Santana.
Details for May have already been leaked with Desyn, DJOKO and Mari.te all descending on RSO for the following edition. Respect to the Planet Pleasure crew, the consistency is set and continuation into the year is looking bright.
