Planet Pleasure continue to keep the dance floors warm at R.S.O Berlin. The promoters have found the winning formula, consistently curating events that feature packed line ups full of talent. As the dust settles on the previous, all eyes look to the next. And never does it disappoint.
Recent months have seen the collective join forces with other labels in the area. This combining of powers can only bolster what was already a rising strength of session.
Last month’s link up with System Error saw Nicolas Lutz, DJ Masda, 192 GmbH and Lola Haro, alongside local residents and selectors. And thanks to the extended sessions taking night through into late morning, there’s plenty of space for the artists to make themselves comfortable at the controls.
The upcoming showcase this Friday invites fellow Berlin label Pager Records to the party. Markus Sommer and Phil Evans have taken the platform to London, Tunisia and France in recent months. They return home for this one and together with Planet Pleasure they’ve orchestrated something special for the occasion.
Alongside Sommer and Evans, Mayaan Nidam joins the roster, heading up what is set to be ‘a spectacle of fun and pleasure’. The Berliner knows the clubs in the capital like the back of her hand and has probably played in most. With a myriad of minimal productions behind her and her aliases, Nidam is certainly an expert in her craft.
Data Memory Access (Giammarco Orsini + Jacopo Latini) will also be on hand serving up their own unique blend as part of a live performance. Ever rising talent Malika will be flying in from the shores of Spain. And of course, Planet Pleasure residents Thabo and Thalo Santana round of the monthly journey into the galactic odyssey they have created.
