Picnic combine with Pieces to take over Village Underground

London crew picnic have since their tenth birthday takeover of fabric been tearing up Europe and with that night (and morning) a firm but fading memory it’s on to the next adventure. Having just returned back to London after tearing Edinburgh’s Cabaret Voltaire a new one picnic will be hooking up with long time pals Pieces for an extended session at Village Underground on Saturday, June 4th.

Pieces are one of the most in demand booking agencies and with a roster that includes Apollonia, Sonja Moonear and Traumer their party with picnic is sure to be full of talent. This is of course a certainty and they have fine-tuned a line-up that is sure to maintain their perfect run of parties. Heading up the Village Underground soiree is none other than Binh. There are few festivals and clubs that have not bowed to his bass fuelled cosmic bangers and this party will be no different. Fellow selector and peer DJ Masda will also be on the line-up and with the depth of record bag and dance floor knowledge he possesses anything is possible.

Pieces artist and friend of Trommel, Michelle will be assembling her machines for another bout of upfront electronics that is sure to shake Village Underground’s bricked walls to breaking. As with all picnic events there is always a resident factor and this time around Pelle is the man for the job. Having starred alongside the Herra under their pH Project guise during picnic’s full fabric takeover and he will again be on hand to provide the vibes.
