If 2022 was the year that music festivals emerged from the mist of lockdown 2023 will be the year that the enforced quiet period will seem like a distant memory. One such festival to build on the success of their previous years’ endeavours is Belgian based gathering Paradise City. Last year they welcomed a truly diverse arrangement of artists that included Ben UFO, ERIS, FDG, Margaret Dygas, Octo Octa, Sugar Free, Soichi Terada, Mountain People, the list goes on and on in many different directions.
For their weekend that will run from June 30th to July 2nd at the stunning location of Ribaucourt Castle in Perk, Belgium. In a similar vein to last year they have again rounded up a wide range of top flight artists. In the first phase of artists to be announced and there will be many more before summer begins a myriad of underground sounds are well represented by the likes of AliA & Driss Bennis, Christian AB & Quest, Dan Andrei, Vitess (live), and Vlada.
House and disco will also receive the royal treatment with two of the most in demand DJ’s on the circuit in Palm Trax and Folamour. Taking care of the more upfront sounds is techno queen Helena Hauff, LSDXOXO, party starters Eris Drew & Octo Octa, Leafar Legov (live), Avalon Emerson, Shanti Celeste, melodic techno dons Adriatique as well as a range of supporting acts.
As well as out of this world line-up curation, Paradise City Festival also has at their disposal some of the finest festival stages in Europe. This year Paradise City will be adding a 6th stage to their offering which also includes a weekend long stage by Geigling, a stunning mainstage in the shadow of the grand Ribaucourt Castle, the mystical wooded area that has seen some of 2022’s highlights. As 2023 ushers in a new stage in their journey, Paradise City Festival have upped their footprint considerably and this will mean bigger camping, more extensive stages and more space to enjoy the weekend. There will also be a team of stage hosts on hand to help program their stages and we will be collaborating with Klub Dramatik to design a day to night experience, but more on that later.
