Paradise City goes from strength to strength as they announce the third phase of artists being welcomed to Belgium’s picturesque Ribaucourt Castle from the 30th of June this year.
Joining the already mammoth line up are a range of artists from household names to underground talents, as well as some stars of the present moment. Renowned for the festival’s exceptional organisation, impressive stage setup and superior production efforts they aim to bring artists who provide flavours across all types of electronic music.
Detroit legends Omar S and Moodymann have just been added to the bill, now these two need no introduction, pioneers of their sound whose discographies span its very inception right through to its current direction. There is a reason these guys have never found themselves shy of a good line up.
Serial selector Ben UFO is back again after a killer headline set at the newly added Forest Stage last year. He will of course be bringing his eclectic and seemingly endless record bag to the party, providing a solid soundtrack of avant-garde electronic tunes sure to rock the floor. Ben will again be sharing the stage with Australian hotshot Moopie after their stellar b2b at last year’s edition of Paradise City.
Following the release of global dance music phenomenon ‘B.O.T.A.’, man of the moment Interplanetary Criminal has been called upon to bring the vibe right from the source. Christian Löffler will be performing his new highly anticipated live show that blends ambient, classical and techno touching a host of moods through melancholy, psychedelia and beyond. Whilst fellow Ki Records affiliate Mano Le Tough will be returning with his signature mix of electronic goodness, an artist whose extensive output leaves him requiring no introduction. Experienced electronic maestro Lawrence has also been asked to join the party flaunting his time-honoured expertise.
Live sets from Berlin-based veteran and Perlon star Maayam Nidam never fail to amaze as she has shown more than most over the years, as she remains a key player on the circuit. Edward will also be flexing his gear as he has been asked to perform live, spanning punchy minimal beats through to those sweet, stripped-back house grooves. Paradise will also see fellow Giegling mainstay DJ Dustin performing his usual dreamy selections.
Basic Moves label boss and Belgian native Walrus will be making an appearance, an artist who has been forging a name for himself through his original approach to crafting DJ sets and tracks in the studio alike. Sure-fire spinners Saoirse and Schatrax will both be bringing their usual solid selections to the mix spanning house, techno and a whole load more. Classic house cat Fred P is welcomed into the fold as he shares the decks with Molly this time round, whose mixes have earned her landmark status on the global map. Meanwhile, DJ QU, hotly tipped for bringing the funkier, more soulful side of house has been sourced for the provision of some definite party starters.
Despite all this, Paradise crew still have a few more tricks up their sleeve as Sedef Adasi will share the decks with a secret international headliner, as well as a new upgraded camping experience – Sweet Harmony – to accommodate all the dancers. This new upgrade means more space, showers and facilities per camper, an exclusive chill-out stage, three breakfast buffets included in the camping ticket, and a silent area where strict noise rules apply. Those looking for an extra comfortable stay will be pleased to know the glamping options will receive a significant upgrade too.
