Austrian festival Paradies Garten are back with an even bigger offering, after a standout debut back in 2022. Last year, the stunning setup at Schloss Prugg tempted a packed out crowd to its green castle grounds. With promises of more artists, new stage designs and enhanced sustainability efforts, an already unforgettable experience is becoming even better.
Situated soundly in the heart of nature, three specially integrated stages are carefully crafted into their surroundings. Between the Forest stage, the Rosengarten and the Castle itself, a natural arena is carved into the finest aspects the location has to offer. As per previous performance, the result is magic. A primely placed event, made for celebrating sound and scenery all weekend long.
With such a formula already tried and tested, it is no surprise to see the crew return for round two. And judging by the hype from the first, a second edition is all that we could ask for. It will take place on the same summer weekend, 4th – 6th August, when the sunshine is at its finest.
Paradise Garten comes as another branch to the Paradise City Festival, the parent party taking place in Brussels a little earlier in the year. Already recognised as the greenest festival in Belgium, it’s clear the collective bring the same ethos to Austria. Aside from their quest to celebrate sustainably, they also bring with them the same flair for programming.
The full lineup was announced this morning, featuring plenty of fine acts in the underground and beyond. Two of Austria’s top artists, Salute and Wolfram, will come together next to Overmono, Skin on Skin and Palms Trax. Across the weekend you’ll also find the likes of Quest & Cristian AB, Mall Grab, Laurine & Cecilio, Tijana T, FJAAK, Peach, Lola Haro and a whole load more. The Berlin influence is apparent, adding DJ Fuckoff into the mix.
Festival passes can be purchased with or without camping. Day passes are also on sale if you can’t make the full thing. But from the looks of things, you’ll want to be there for the duration.
