With the basslines from their last Parisian outing with Alien Communications still reverberating around the city Outdom Records are poised to make an even bigger splash. This time around they will be taking on the legendary Rex Club for a party that will ensure their debut is certainly one to remember. The long running Paris nightspot is steeped in history and Outdom joins this lineage on March 22nd with their next party.
Uruguayan artist Z@p has been brought in for the occasion and few can deny this South American’s credentials. With tracks for such labels as Melliflow, Phonoteque, Cabaret Records, Cartullis, My Own Jupiter, and this is not even to mention his undoubted skills behind a set of decks. His digging skills will most assuredly set the tone for the calibre of this party as he is joined by RA+RE founder Melody. Also, a highly desirable artist as well as lover of all things wax she has staked her name on the quality of the gems she unearths as much as her skill in putting them together during one of her smoking hot performances.
More heat comes in the form of Distrikt Paris duo of Le Loup and Blanco. From their own parties in and around Paris to their guest appearances at some of the finest events around Europe this pair of artists have plenty of surprises in their record bags that warrant their billing on this excellent first outing at Rex Club. Completing the line-up is none other than Outdom Records founder Latent and with the crew having recently minted their first VA and with it comes four peak time bombs that present many of their root cause sounds. Raucous house and garage are the vibe for this first release and the ‘Raw Tools Vol 1.’ offers tracks from Outdom’s producers (Shortcut, Latent & Brooklyn Baby), plus one guest track from Marc Cotterell (Plastik People’s Label Owner).
