When Sonar week rolls around the tension and expectation of this special time reaches fever pitch. With there being a myriad of club nights, label showcases and community based events a new slant on this has emerged. With the debut events coming last year OFF The Record have considerably improved on their offerings for 2023 with some of the finest domestic and international underground brands all having their space to shine this June. In conjunction with record store and distribution dons Small Black Dots there is a full program of events and activities in some of the most breath-taking venues in Barcelona.

Taking place at Sala Boveda will be an exceptional meeting of minds Melcure x Distrikt Paris and Outcast Torino. With it brings an extended trip sound tracked by Abscal, Alex Dima, Bassam, Blanco, Cristian Sarde, Dani Casarano, Escko, Felipe Valenzuela, Momo Trosman, Munir Nadir, Paolo Macri, and Taieb Chekir.

OFF the Record kicks things up a gear with our own party alongside Small Black Dots and Le Bazar. Taking place at an intimate secret villa venue just outside the city center taking control of the decks will be the Slow Life pairing of Laurine and Cecilio, Cosmic JD (live), Reeshy and Cosm, Brian Topham, Christian, Niko Amadeus, and Toltec.
RAWBEATS X OFF THE RECORD
The Equador connected RawBeats will be making their way to Barcelona and will hook up with OFF The Record for a label showcase. Label co-owner and A&R Groove Circus will be joined by the experienced Deckard and Venezuelan local import LM. This day to late evening soiree will all be going down at one of Off the Record’s favourite venues Buena Onda Social Club.
OFF THE RECORD – DIGGER SOCIETY WITH FRANCESCO FARFA
Slow Club will be the site of Glamor Freaks presents Diggers Society with their esteemed guest Francesco Farfa. Adding to the mix will be the Barcelona based Italian heads DJ P. and Ale Carniel.

Returning to the special open air villa yard Off The Record will be joining forces with Ukrainian crew Closer and local heroes seekers. Alex Picone, Ancut, E.lina & Annyrock, Ewan Jansen (live), Miki, O’FourtyFour, Shakolin, S.O.N.S., and Timur Basha will all exchange records. The magic begins in the dead of the night but will transform come sun up.
RINGS OF NEPTUNE X OFF THE RECORD
Slap bang in the middle of the weekend and Buena Onda Social Club will be primed and ready to welcome creative agency Rings of Neptune for some al fresco dancing. Providing the sounds for their OFF the Record label showcase will be Cleymoore, Rubi, and Sinm.

BASIC MOVES AFTER HOUR X OFF THE RECORD
Moving on to the final full length day of Off the Record and true to form they have an outrageous party lined up. Taking over the secret special place will be Belgian imprint Basic Moves. Opening their record bags one last time (perhaps) will be Adi, Boudewijn Ericx, Rino, and Walrus.
FACIENDO X OFF THE RECORD
Faciendo Soundsystem aka Desyn, Rama, and Tom Morgan will be curating the journey at another secret venue in the heart of the action. Joining them will be Small Black Dots and OCD boss Nick who will be flexing his finest wax.
QUINOA X OFF THE RECORD
Edging ever closer to the climak of this special week, Buena Onda Social Club will welcome Quinoa Experience for an audiophilic showcase. As well as artists Kizoku, Valeryo, Solar Punk, Jua’Rez, and boss man Chris Gorrie, there will also be top notch sound from Audio Solution (IT), Pequod Soundsystem (IT), Nota Custom Audio (ES), and 100 Sounds (JP).

STUDIO CARBONELL & IAW X OFF THE RECORD
For those still up for one last dance seekers will be hooking up with Studio Carbonnel and IAW for some Monday morning action. Artists will include Niff, Domenico Rosa, Luca Piermattei (live), Discoslutz, and more are yet to be announced.
