NEST announce the full line-up for their fifth edition in the hills outside Barcelona

Five years in, and Barcelona’s NEST festival is still doing things its own way.

Born from the collective vision of Barcelona crews Kommuna, MASS and Simple Times, NEST has quietly nurtured one of the most genuine and community-driven micro-festivals in the calendar. What started as a passion project nestled in the hills outside the city has grown steadily into an annual pilgrimage, expanding its family year by year, whilst staying true to what makes it tick.

For their fifth edition, NEST returns to the hills of Alt Penedès on Friday 12th through to Sunday 14th June 2026. Surrounded by vineyards, pine forests and the sort of countryside that makes the city feel very far away, the site remains one of the most charming settings in the Barcelona festival circuit.

Musically, we’ve come to expect a refreshing mixture of old school legends alongside contemporary favourites, born from the thriving community of music enthusiasts in the city. Previously, they’ve welcomed the likes of Tristan Da Cunha, Melina Serser and Alexander Robotnik.

This year marks a small step up in scale, with music spreading across three distinct spaces for the first time: the Main Stage, the Forest Stage, and the beloved NEST Stage, each with its own character and a few surprises promised along the way. Sound is powered throughout by the Boris Soundsystem, the same hardware that powers Berlin’s beloved Hoppetosse.

Headlining this year are Swayzak, the veteran duo behind a string of timeless deep house releases in the early 2000s, returning in live form. Joining them are Laurine & Cecilio of Slow Life, whose reputation for considered and beautiful selections speaks for itself. El-B, the Ghost Recordings pioneer whose influence on UK bass music needs little introduction, is another exciting addition to the bill.

A taste of Italy comes via Alex Picone, boss of Small Black Dots and Seekers, bringing decades of refined taste to the hills, alongside the fellow Italian taste-making selector Brasi.

Liquid Earth and Indi Zone bring their hopeful house music to the weekend. James Andrew and Nikol also feature via live sets, adding further depth to what is shaping up to be the most ambitious NEST programme to date.

The rest of the bill is a love letter to Barcelona’s local scene. Mari.te & Lis Sarroca, Baldo, Audiodise, Cami & Slow Hodge, CMYK, Cosm, DJ Gamba and Driahn are amongst the carefully curated mix of downtempo and peak time artists drawn from the city’s roster of deejays.

Away from the dancefloor, NEST stays true to its retreat spirit. Camp under the trees, enjoy a yoga session, try a creative workshop, or simply get lost in music. The capacity remains deliberately intimate, keeping the focus on community and connection rather than scale.

Five editions in, NEST has quietly become one of the more vital fixtures in Barcelona’s cultural calendar.
