I’ll be brief – Slow Life never disappoints. At least, I can’t remember that happen in any of their 30 previous releases. Now it’s time to go into the pre-orders section again because they’re ready with their 31st beauty, this time – from the inside of their crew. This will be the first release of their Laurine. You definitely saw her in our numerous video cuts from her sets and b2bs, now it’s time to check her skills of production. So…
The B-side opener “Catch The Flow” takes no prisoners from the start. Forgot about the word “slow” for this track – there’s nothing slow here. A breakbeat-house banger at its best. A solid, powerful bassline, full of broken beats, oldschool hip-hop vocal samples, melody, that will turn any party into one straight mayhem. A vivid example of an uptempo track you’ll remember most after any set. I think, we’ll see some videos with it in the future. Let’s wait.
In other news – The A-side opener “T.O.D.S.L” feels like a brother of our today’s premiere, adding some homage to the classic Chicago house with everything mentioned in the previous paragraph. “DrGold” adds some classic euphoria on top of all that (sheeesh!) and the final one on the record “Nobody Knows” will suit your morning dancing routine perfectly.
I tried to find something I don’t like here – and I failed. A perfect debut for Laurine – you can be sure of that. Hope, we’ll hear more from her as soon as possible.
