London collective SOLIS head to Phonox in May with Sonja Moonear

SOLIS mark their first event of the year at the London institution Phonox, inviting scene veteran Sonja Moonear for the ride.

The UK crew have established a unique presence in the London scene, darting around various venues with an intriguing curation of selectors. Previous bookings include the likes of minimal dons Ion Ludwig and SIT, as well as more electro and deep digging artist such as Freakenstein, DMX Krew and KRN.

SOLIS’ history in London have an appetite for more intimate events. Dating back to 2016, their unique parties have swung between a number of the smaller and more subtle venues, providing rare opportunities to see Perlon artists such as Vera and Cabanne, or more off-the-cuff bookings in HardWorkSoftDrink or Lowris.

Their interesting approach to event curation has seen them become a frequent face across the London scene, regularly featuring at the now defunct The Cause, The Night Tales Loft and Grow Tottenham. Combining a variety of worlds within the house, techno and minimal realms, their events leave punters guessing with unique combinations and fusions of scenes from around the world.

Starting their journey for 2022, the party heads to Phonox, one of the capital’s best sounding clubs. The venue regularly invites the likes of Saorise and Margaret Dygas to let loose with extended sets in their intimate space.

To honor SOLIS’ sixth year since inception, Saturday 14th May will welcome fellow Perlon queen Sonja Moonear for a rare showcase in such a small and great sounding space. The eclectic selector is known for her surprising and high energy sets, pulling bottomless gems from her decade-spanning record bag, you can be sure this intimate showcase will be one to remember.

Support comes from the party boss and resident Mylo Harvey with a versatile record bag suited to the crew’s diverse tastes.
