Something is stirring on the Adriatic Coast of Italy, a movement of truly cosmic proportions is set to land in the untouched gem of Termoli between 4th and 6th July. In what reads more like a manifesto than a press release, there is a call to action that eclipses anything to be found in the region. While music-led events have been taking place in Termoli for several decades, what is coming this summer is more than a movement than a festival.
Having cut their teeth in the Berlin underground for the past nine years, festival organisers Outer Place will be taking all their experience and transplanting this into this picturesque Italian locale. For three days and nights, there will be a full program of panel discussions, workshops, concerts, boat parties and after-parties to build a legacy befitting of the visionaries who are pooling their expertise. Taking place across five distinct event spaces – the historic and visually stunning Piazza Duomo, Borgo Antico will house the Talking Point Conferences, the collaborative workshops will be presented at the architecturally beautiful Teatro Verde situated in the pub lic park.
Moving onto the more party orientated sections of the adventure and the Main Stage where the majority of the headlining acts will take place at the open air seaside Arena de Mare at Rio Vivo Beach, MCM Nautica will be hosting the boat parties taking place across the festival and Oasi Beach Club, Termoli will be the palace to be for all the afterparties. Termoli and the surrounding areas will act as the festival site for a close knit community feel but with a larger festival ethos in place.
As well as this being a meeting point for creatives from across the artistic spectrum, Confluenze Festival will also be a hub for innovation. The captivating spaces that this virgin festival affords will allow for truly unique and above all else intimate experiences that will leave the mind and body wondering what exactly they were an important part of.
Between now and July, we will be introducing you to all the artists, panellists, producers, tech leaders, and innovators who will be contributing to perhaps one of the most thought-provoking festivals to emerge in recent times. However, for now we can exclusively reveal the first wave of acts that will ensuring that the first edition of Confluenze Festival will be one to remember.
