Festival season is fast approaching, and with it comes the arrival of a truly exciting project. Not wishing to retread ground covered in previous events or by other festivals, Confluenze Festival aims to couple next-level musical programming with the imparting of industry knowledge from individuals who have helped shape the underground landscape.
Taking place between 4th and 6th July, Confluenze Festival will take place across several picturesque sites dotted around the beautiful fishing Adriatic town of Termoli. We previously announced the full details of the action taking place on the Main Stage, and we can now introduce you to the lineup of creatives that will be showcasing their talents during the Talks and Workshops.
Over the weekend-long sun-kissed adventure, there will be a total of five panel talk sessions covering a range of thought-provoking topics from creating a booking agency to women shaping electronic music, the important subject of the evolution of club culture, and label A&R activities. This will all be taking place at the visually stunning location of Piazza Duomo, Borgo Antico, and with the area steeped in history, this will certainly feel like a meeting of minds in much the same way that its original use was designed all those centuries ago.
Taking part in these important exchanges will be a host of industry heavyweights who continue to help the underground develop and reach its full potential. These names include Roof Bookings’ Rino Lionio and Luca Calo from Concentric Records and , Florence Richards, DJ Rou, Sun Generation Records founder MIKI, founder of Ultrasuoni Marcolino, Italian music journalist Fabrizio Galassi, KISK, founder of the acclaimed Apparel Music label, and our very own industry rockstar Isis Salvaterra.
As well as these culturally defining discussions, there will also be a range of dedicated workshops arranged to allow attendees to get hands-on and up close and personal with the artists that will be leading Confluenze Festival. Taking place in the grand Teatro Verde amphitheatre, which is situated in the public park of Termoli, festival goers will be able to learn from some of the best artists and live acts on the planet. These include sessions with the likes of A Guy Called Gerald, Mathew Jonson, Otis, Francesco Salvadori, Giulio Maresca, Giuseppe D’Alessandro, Lorenzo Chiabotti, Fabrizio Galassi, and Marco Pellegrino.
When all that is needed is a cold drink, chilled vibes and soothing music, you will find the SUNSET STAGE. Situated at Termoli’s northern beach, you will find a relaxed atmosphere and DJ sets from e/tape, SMS, and DJ Rou. All you need to do is find your spot, collect your crew and take some time off from the world.
