Having previously brought you news of the brand new festival set to land on the Adriatic coast and Confluenze Festival has been cooking up something rather special. Taking place between 4th and 6th July in the stunning coastal town of Termoli.
For such a landmark event, the combined forces of Outer Place and Confluenze have ensured that there are no copy/paste lineups to be found here. Taking influence from their many Berlin-based events, the programming of the Main Stage has been painstakingly pieced together to ensure that this is a dance space that will blow minds. Taking place in the shadow of Il Sogno (The Dream) monument, the pinnacle of the festival action will take place at Arena del Mare on Rio Vivo Beach, and the connections between nature, music, and attendees are set to be magical.
At the beach stage throughout the weekend, you will be able to find a finely balanced cocktail of live artists, crack selectors, and producers. When it comes to live acts, they don’t get much better than Canadian wizard Mathew Jonson. His sets positively bristle with the creativity that befits the incredible discography that he possesses. Another live act that cannot be missed on the Main Stage is DMX Krew, and through flashes of sheer brilliance, he sweeps across his hardware in order to conjure up outrageous dancefloor moments. Completing the complement of live electronics on the Main Stage is none other than A Guy Called Gerald. What is left to say about an artist that literally lives and breathes music history?
Also taking to the Main Stage are a slew of DJ’s that have proved their mettle time and time again on the most important of stages. Leading the charge will be Outer Place founder and Confluenze Festival driving force Ma.to. Via his Berlin-based events, he has built a reputation that Confluenze Festival now stands upon. Joining the action on the sand will be Binh, Bobby & Mariiin, Brasi, DJ Masda, e/tape, Gwenan, Margaret Dygas, Marcolino, and Nicolas Lutz. As you will agree, this is a stage program that simply cannot be missed.
There is much more besides the action taking place on the Main Stage to get excited about throughout this weekend. From boat parties, beach club afters, workshops, and conference talks, there is much more exciting news to share in the coming weeks.
