The Brookyln born and Barcelona based ID BCN crew have been hosting the likes of Barac, Herodot and Petre Inspirescu across the city in various DIY spaces for some time now. After building a reputation for unique locations and pristine sound systems, October saw a huge collaboration with the cultural hub MAD Radio and featured white hot selectors Evan Baggs and Christian AB. As you will see from their after movie they do not mess around when it comes to the production, the carefully created vibe and of course the sound system needs to be just right.
After the clear success of their last private villa party, the two collectives return with an extended occasion to blow up the last of the warmer days in Europe and what an event they have planned. Sets will run from midday on Saturday, November 20th to the following morning and will provide extended sessions for each of the carefully curated artists. Topping the bill is super selector Dyed Soundorom and the Frenchman will have his record bag packed to the brim with bomb after bomb after a successful summer touring the finest festivals and clubs with his Apollonia brothers.
As if Dyed was not enough, Berlin based diggers The Ghost will also add their special flair to the party. Whether it is via their own parties, their mobile record store or the many many DJ sets they have also played at the finest spots around The Ghost always bring the party. Finally, the international artists are completed by experienced head Andrew James Gustav. Not to be outdone in the digging stakes, AJG is regularly found at the controls in most party hotspots from London to Berlin and now Barcelona. It is evident that authentic record digging and music obsessive motives are, and always have been at the forefront of the crew’s plans and this party is set to break all records.
As always there will be local support and this will come from two devoted crews in the form of Lyonel from the local NUT Records store, alongside Thood residents Sebastián and Rufo. Making the most of some of Europe’s finest remaining weather, this open air event is a fleeting opportunity to experience a taste of warmer weather. Return coaches will be running from the centre of Barcelona, cruising ravers 40 minutes outside of the city to a stunning undisclosed location. We can’t express enough just how special the setting and production for this party is and there are even more plans for the crew to go even bigger and longer. So, while the rest of Europe begins to cool ID BCN are burning up.
Tickets are available from RA, as well as in store at NUT Records and MAD Radio.
