Starting in Paris back in 2013 Fabrika has grown organically into a four-day community gathering of minds that collects together the best domestic and international artists and party brands. Previous editions have meant scene main players Priku, SIT (Vlad Caia b2b Cristi Cons), Charlie, Mihai Pol, Cap, Olga Korol, Dan Andrei, Dewalta have all reunited under the Fabrika banner. The hotly anticipated 2021 instalment will be taking place in the lush Fell Hotel resort in Hammamet, Tunisia between Thursday, December 2nd and Sunday, December 5th there will be a full musical program each day prepared exclusively for Fabrika Festival guests.
Perhaps the festival organisers ethos and outlook is even more impressive as they have even thought of clubbers looking to join the Fabrika community on their own and offer the option to join other like-minded souls through their inventive room options. As well as the collaborative room scenarios for solo travellers there is also regular and comfort rooms that can sleep up to five people. Across the full four days’ program there will be collaboration from esteemed crews Sunrise, Club der Visionaere, Desimana, Pisica, sqnc, A Tribe Called Tribe, and Didaktics, as well as a host of young creators who will be exhibiting their artistic expressions. More importantly this will be a first for the MENA region where certainly this calibre of artists has perhaps performed but certainly not on this level.
Day one begins in earnest with very little lead in as the Romanians are playing and they don’t get bigger than Rhadoo. The RPR man will be flanked by Andrei Ciubuc and of course a sizzling selection of local heroes. Providing the all-important early afternoon and late evening soundtrack will be the super talented Fabrika and Didaktics resident Hitch, A-Dess, Ionee, Omar C, Zoux, Min8 and Root.
Remember this is a marathon and not a sprint as there is still another few days to take in and day two heats up considerably. Two of Romania’s finest and the second RPR member in attendance will be highlighting the day but bear in mind that there is also a wealth regional talent from the combined camps. Sure, Gescu and Raresh will likely play the biggest sets of the day but Adam Dirk’heim, Dawan, MDDB, Fares A, Elise Jilian, and Melkart are all on this line up for a very good reason.
Now getting on towards the business end of the festival but there is still a lot of festival to go. Starting the day as they mean to go on will be Saar, HLE, Chedy, ME.DI, Bahaa culminating the penultimate day featuring Crihan and Sunrise HUB main man Herodot. Each day holds its very own allure but little can take away from the magical last day.
The final hours of any festival is a special time, as it becomes clearer and clearer that the friendships created and nurtured are drawing to their conclusion a fitting line up is required. As well as having a top array of artists the closing day of Fabrika Festival will be presented alongside one of our favourite Berlin clubs Club der Visionaere. Providing the early hour’s music will be Raphael Merheb and 3lias and they will perfectly set the tone for a closing spectacle worthy of the occasion. First up is Roche Madame boss Cesar Merveille who is more than capable of bringing down the curtain on his own but there is something truly special in store. Fabrika have secured a five hour live set from Ion Ludwig and Melchior Productions Ltd.
We couldn’t think of a better way to bring four days of music, sun and sounds to a close. The whole festival would not be possible without a huge amount of collaboration, from the music partners, guest artists, organisers and of course the clubbers. Although we have only highlighted the artists that will be performing at Fabrika Festival there is so much more to unearth throughout the host resort but you will need to make your way to Tunisia. Once there we are confident that you will discover a community that has been formed from so little and has grown into so much.
