There are few places that have not been touched by the magic of American selector extraordinaire Evan Baggs. The Time Passages artist is no stranger to South America but this time around emerging underground hub Ecuador will be playing host. Binh’s Time Passages has been home to many artists from south the border that includes Z@p, Omar, and most recently Leo Leal.
The intimate open-air Summer Affairs shindig in Quito will mark a gripping connection between several driving forces in Equador’s underground. Rawbeats Records, Router Music, and Frequenza have been propelling their scene into the world. With previous guests such as Sammy Dee, Afriqua, Andy Kolves, Zendid, Quest, Molly, DJ Honesty as well as their own respective residents the highlights will not just be coming from Evan’s record bag.
Joining in on the action will be Ozen and Juan Proeliis two artists that are more than used to providing the party starting essentials. With the far reaches of the South American underground becoming less far-flung and a firm favourite in the tour schedules of top DJ’s, we hope that this will be the first of many parties such as Summer Affair.
