Bandcamp will again be doing their bit to support the music industry

With the music industry being hit hard as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic music streaming platform Bandcamp has been doing their bit by waiving their share of all sales on their site and they are doing it again on Friday, June 5th as well as on Friday, July 3rd. Having already done so on several occasions this has resulted in labels and artists being able to recoup at least a small portion of earnings that they have missed out on due to there being no events and at times reduced physical sales.

If you have a stack of music sitting in your Bandcamp cart make sure and checkout from midnight on Friday, June 5th Pacific Time and 100% of the money you spend will go straight into the pockets of the creators. There will also be a number of releases from a range of labels and artists that have been curated specifically for the day. So, get shopping and help to support your favourite music directly during these tough times.
