Just as the physical theory explains the rapid expansion of the universe that paved the way for the vast and ever-growing cosmos we experience today, we can draw a parallel on a smaller scale with the ‘universe’ of electronic music, which is also subject to this phenomenon. Why are we making this comparison? After years of planning and conceptualizing, the crew behind Alien Communications is set to kick off the spring season this year with its latest addition to the The Big Bang returning.
The concept curated by the UK label aims to bring together like-minded people who will enjoy listening to top-tier artists in a cosy, indoor setting. So far, it seems they’ve managed to do that gracefully, but we will reveal all the hot details in a bit. Alien Communications explained the concept behind The Big Bang neatly: “an indoor, inner-city music festival, marking the end of the darkness and the start of brighter days”.
On March 1st, renowned artists will join forces for an unforgettable night. Headlining the event is American legend Juan Atkins, aka the father of techno music. Paranoid London will mark their 10th anniversary with an exclusive live AV show, while Japanese icon Fumiya Tanaka, rising London star Loa Szala, Istanbul key figure Onur Özer, and promoters Alien Communications among many others will play at EartH, a special venue located in the heart of East London. The location consists of three standout spaces housed in a one-of-a-kind historical building, originally established as a cinema in the 1930s. That said, the experience is guaranteed to be something to remember.
