Berg Audio is a dub techno oriented label inspired by the lost monuments from the soviet era.
For its eighth release, Berg Audio presents “Directions”, a various artists featuring pioneers as well as some of the most talented producers from the new generation. The incredible eight tracks compilation is accompanied by Juli Jah’s stunning reinterpretation of Poland’s “Hotel Forum” located in Krakow. 2X12”- 180G, Gatefold – a must-have item for any vinyl collectors.
It is very unusual to find tracks from several among the best names currently available as part of a unique pack: Berg Audio decides to make things interesting and wraps under the same release music from iO (Mulen), Traumer, Exos, Delano Smith and Idealist, alongside Romanian minimal representative Barac, Mosaic father Steve O’Sullivan and one of the most prolific producer of the moment: East End Dubs.
Although the style of the issue is announced to be deep/dub techno, the variety of names and backgrounds of the artist involved make us really impatient while waiting to discover it.
