After their opening salvo which featured tracks from Michael James, Enzo Leep, DJOKO and Tommy Vicari Jr they return with a serious follow up. For the next EP from mysterious imprint Outright Records they have a certified bomb on their hands. Having been supported everywhere from Mint Warehouse, to Dimensions by hot selectors such as Enzo Siragusa, Rossi, Archie Hamilton, tINI as well as creator Dutch artist Den Haas.
Right at the top of the release is title track ‘Dance Tip’ and the attitude that emanates is insane. From the infectious bassline to the no nonsense drum programming this is straight up banger material from the very beginning. The energy levels seldom dip and when the bombastic vocal lines begin to drop the vibes go through the roof. Tailor made for detonating main stages, sun kissed terraces and intimate raves a like there won’t be a still set pair of feet in the house.
A tough act to follow but ‘Sanctuary’ does a great job with just as catchy rolling basslines and a soaring synthline and effected tidy vocal chops. Progressing from the upfront to the more sublime and groovey with ‘This & That’ and again the swagger of title track ‘Dance Tip’ edges into the mix here to great effect. Completing the EP from Den Haas is ‘Love 2 Give’ and the punchy drums maintain the focus while a stunning female vocal breakdown absolutely nails the drop.
We have a feeling that Outright Records will continue to go form strength to strength and this four-tracker from Den Haas will stick in the memory as helping to soundtrack some of the most energetic raves after lockdown ended in the UK.
