So, the child of Komponente and Kurilo, Trance Pandemic label is ready with its sixth release. And this time, they’ve decided to go for a split. One side features Kurilo’s work, while the other showcases Komponente’s.
We’re more interested in the latter, especially since the last track on the record was a tough choice to make. “Crash Bandicoot” is a very pacey, synthy joint, that, as the name suggests, brings back some childhood memories. I’m a huge fan of sounds like this – particularly that acid/synth part, not the PS samples, so that sealed the deal for me.
“Dance With Us” was the other contender – a bit brighter, moderately dreamy, but still very energetic and perfect for some fist-pumping on the dancefloor. That was the “for loud raves” part. Now, let’s see what’s in store “for the secret afterparties.” Kurilo offers two mellow tracks, “Get Back” and “Fractured,” which might be his weakest productions. Or maybe it’s just me who’s not a fan of those sounds.
But at least the second part of the record is strongly recommended for a listen and a grab. So, you know the drill – Redeye, Deejay – these records usually don’t stick around for long.
