The fifteenth instalment of VOY Records, as usual, features another solid 2-tracker. Another banging one, as we all got used to lately from iO (Mulen).
Starting from the B-side today, “15 B” kinda shows everything with its super energetic percussion from the very first second. Designed for the peakest of times and the most crowded festivals in the world, it continues with mid-power arpeggios for the next two minutes just to put some sexy female vocals and almost rock chords after that to turn everything into a mayhem.
That’s his style lately, like it or not, and the A-side is not very different from it. “15 A” bombards us with the same energy from the very beginning, also, but in a slightly different variation. Less rock, but more synths, I would say.
It is easy to imagine that this release will be in a lot of DJ bags during this festival season. It’s just designed to shred the crowds. It’s already on Juno, Deejay, Decks, and any other good record store.
