Premiere: B1 – SE62 – Teacher’s Call [SLPFNK025]

Today we’re having another producer from Ukraine, who releases his stuff not that often. Still, if I need to explain to you, house music lover, who SE62 is, you were probably doing something very serious in 2013-2018, because, you know, “True Force” … It was impossible to miss it through those years. But, even without that mega-successful track, SE62 and his raw, dirty, almost boom-bap house sound did a lot of work so I could call him well-known. And we’re very happy, that, after 3 years of silence (not counting the unofficial edit for Agony in 2020) he’s landing on SlapFunk Records with a very interesting collection of tracks.

Our main dish today was written, as was told, in 2017, written and almost forgotten. But, gladly, not completely, so we can enjoy that enormous fat and catchy bassline and phoneline samples. By the way, if we talk about the atmosphere of the track – it kinda reminds me of “True Force” – only being a bit darker. Also, there’s a dub version as well, not on this release, but, maybe, we can hear it very soon (if you got distracted by that phone conversation during the track).

That was “Teacher’s Call”. From 2017. Just like “ABC” on A1 – another kick-in-the-head track here, also from 5 years ago. A roller that should be prohibited to play on red lights, since it could do serious damage to your unprepared soundsystem. “HZ” was written in 2019, it doesn’t have THAT amount of fat inside, but still, I would recommend it, if you’re on a diet. “Circuit” is the youngest one and my second fav one with a piece of quirky bleep mood inside its house setting.

That’s all – the record is already at the stores with a huge piece of waiting (damn delays!), so, if you’re craving for a good piece of raw house – head straight to Juno, Deejay, Decks or wherever you’re buying your wax.
