Premiere: B1 – Pola – Indian Hill [AIBLACK021]

What a great moment it is when a label head returns to his own imprint to show us how its done. Enter All Inn Records founder Norbert Dunai aka Pola as he preps the release of his latest EP on All Inn’s sub imprint All Inn Black.

Last we heard of Pola on All Inn was back in 2016, as he plied his liquid deep, signature techno sound on his ‘XXXIII’ EP.

Since then the Hungarian producer has delivered two more devilishly rhythmic releases. His ‘Kuku’ Ep for Yoyaku’s AKU imprint and the driving ‘Le Petit Panka’ Ep for All Inn’s other sub label Nilla, restricting his output to a slow but steady stream of highly polished releases.

With the captain at the helm, this 21st issue for All Inn Black doesn’t miss a beat, with two elegantly crafted, hypnotic rhythms set to turn up the heat on dance floors across the underground circuit.

A side groover ‘Mio Mio’ ..its layered percussion warming things up into a rhythmic frenzy as echoed congas, hi hat flourishes and snappy snare strokes blend together seamlessly. A tonal bassline riff keeps things in motion as subtle acid lines pulsate in the background and raw edged, intermittent synth stabs take the lead. Dubby echoes ring deep though the audio spectrum, topping off a intricately layered cut that’ll have even the wall flowers cutting shapes the floor.

On the B side we find cut ‘Indian Hill’ ..Once again Pola’s percussive prowess drives the cut alongside it’s steadily throbbing bassline, as congas, hats and ride cymbals create a beautiful rhythmic flow. Subtle electronic wisps echo shamanic tones to the left and right as wistful pads begin to rise above them, creating a stunningly uplifting feel. We are premiering this captivating B side track from the EP, a hypnotizing slow burner that plies those deeper frequencies.

Each track on the release emits a hypnotic energy, reeling in the listener until they loose themselves in the elements and forget which way is up. Pola once again delivers a red hot EP that’ll be a prized addition to the All Inn collection.
