Georgian producer and co-founder of Glispy Records, Levan Grdzelidze, is coming back to our premieres section, with his release on Griffe label (another comeback!).
The first one mentioned here, “Prince Of East Side”, is a perfect example of his work, moderately banging, moderately stripped-back, balancing perfectly between techno and tech-house.
It’s B-side neighbour, “On Se Reverra”, is stepping away from banging completely, leaving us with some downtempo electro beats. After it, we’re looking at another side of this one, where everything starts with “First Sip Of Wine”. Pacey, kinda gloomy, but at the same time, an almost euphoric piece. And, just as on the B-side, we’re having a balance. “Marienstraße” is a bit more laid-back, but this time we’re having some 4/4 joy.
The EP is totally about balance, as we can hear. If you like that approach – hit KMA60, Deejay or Decks immediately.
