It’s time to learn some Georgian again because Toke is ready with his third appearance on his own Batter Down label. This time, it was solo, but with very interesting track names, as usual. Four bangers for our ears.
The first one, “ნათელი” (or “Light”) is our main guest today, and that’s because we like it the most. A very hard banging bass from the beginning turns into, I would say, even a bit calm melody track, but that’s only before the sirens hit your ears. The police ones, not the air raid defense system. Tested and loved it, time to premiere it.
The “main” one, called “საკრალური ცეკვა” (or just as the EP, “Sacral Dance”) is the opener and with its another heavy bassline, is taking us to a most hypnotic road, you can ride with that bass. The B-side starts with “თერაპია” (or “Therapy”) and that spoken word inside is as calming as talking to your therapist, probably. The final one here, “ჯაზი” (or “Jazz”) is one of those almost tooly things, I like the most. Probably, it will be played as much as our premiere, a very versatile one.
