Sasha Perukhin’s first landing on Distrikt Paris label with slightly evolved sounds (still signature and very recognizable, if you’re following him from his previous name).
“Strange (Beautiful)” from the A2 position is the biggest banger on the release, and Sasha is well-known for his bangers, for sure. Hard on percussion, light and sexy on vocals, euphoric on pads, everything but boring as a result – that’s what we’re having here.
“Weak Week In Paris” sends us to the times of Laconica with its minimalistic, still energetic build-up and (again) some melancholic pads, that can easily transform into some banging mood at any given moment. “Wabi Sabi (Monmarte Emotions Mix)” is another example of this Sasha’s type of music – could be the star of your minimalistic set or can be used as a tool in your more banging one. And “Open Mind Nostalgy For Zolochiv” is the third one like that here. This time we’re also having some talking inside the track. It’s always a good choice for some house track for the long set. And there’s also an outro – sounds kinda familiar – again, if you’ve been following Sasha for some time.
The record should be released soon. You can check your usual pre-order sections on yoyaku, for example.
