Some of my favorite Georgians – Small Moves are ready with their fourth release already. After that killer VA and the releases by Dufi and Post Play, they managed to get Ish for themselves. And we’re having a very juicy delivery. Some big moves, forget about anything small here.
“Desciple Of The Vault” starts with a solid and serious beat just to give us a few emotions later, in the middle of the track. A little melody is sneaking from the back, to our stomper base. Altogether – probably another 1000th take on that outer space theme, still sounds very fresh.
Going back to one track – to the opener of the record, called “Devine Sacrament”. A huge intro, slow pace – we’re getting ready for some serious dancing here. Just as on the B-side opener “Hello, My Name Is Dr. Who”. Slow, energy-saving mode, but some more stomps, and this time with a lot more voicing. “Child Of The Night” is kinda continuing the vibe of the whole record, but at the same time, being a bit different from everything we’ve just heard. The jumpy synths here are taking us on some retro wave trip. Almost.
Small Moves, as you should already know, never disappoint. So, be ready to hit the pre-orders sections at any good record store, or head to the Ba Dum Tish’s online HQ directly. And grab that piece.
