Livio & Roby present the second output of their home Tier imprint.
The Romanian veterans sculpt a cryptic atmosphere in this beautiful, heavily percussive rolling shade of minimal. Off the back of three releases last year, as well as returning to Mulen Records with their sister project Premisku, Livio & Roby’s last 12 months have continued to excel in prolific, consistent production of minimal house.
Patiently skipping through the eight minute structure, delicate changes to percussion guides the track. The decision to maintain a short, hypnotic loop creates a unique, fragile-like environment for the listener. Heavy repetition encourages total submission to the track, getting lost in the trip-sea of sounds, bringing to life the simplistic powers of minimalist dance music.
‘Baltez’ brings a similar shade of gloomy textures on the B side, shared with a remix from the Romanian staple Priku, delving deep into a lesson of hypnotism.
