Henriku’s storytelling is always something. You probably remember that EP with Alexander Skancke on Quirk (if not, check our review below, that older one), and today, we have another hotshot on a new Howdy label.
“Cock Soccer” (what a name!) should definitely have hashtag “storytelling” on Soundcloud, because it is what it is – not very often almost a half of the track will be put on the background because the narrator gonna put his story about his adventures on a football (soccer!) match. But besides that, the groove is king here. The track’s atmosphere will be recorded many times this summer, mark my words (and remember where you heard it first).
What else do we have here… “Undressing Tool” with its mantra during the track complements its own groove too. “Horus Will” is a dubstep piece (ha, I bet you weren’t ready for that!) with a hypnotic vibe from the best examples of the genre. And the last one on the record, “Is She Real”, is my second favorite, kinda nods to that Quirk release, not with the story, but with the groove.
If Henriku wanted a flashy start for his label, he definitely got it and you can grab the record from Deejay.de.
