Moonrover Records is back at it again with yet another dancefloor-ready release on wax. “Inhale, Exhale, Remember To Breathe” EP is their latest collaboration with none other than Romanian legend Barac, who crafted two signature tracks, each accompanied by remixes from fellow artists PRT Stacho and Endemica.
Our premiere today is the EP’s title track on side A1. Characterised by a hypnotic Buchla synth, “Inhale, Exhale, Remember To Breathe” is built around echoed vocals and a looping melodic motif that deepens as the piece goes by. Minimalist percussion keeps the groove persistent, paving the way for the mystical soundscape Barac crafted.
Fluttering “bird-like” textures, playful effects, and layers that interact through a call-and-response motion define PRT Stacho’s interpretation of the EP title track on A2. Each element feels alive, answering or provoking another, shaping a fluid and organic progression.
Mystical, fairy-like vocal samples accompanied by noisy textures set an otherworldly mood that carries Barac’s unmistakable signature sound on “We Are Getting Closer Again” on B1. Arpeggiated synths and a trippy melodic line further shape this magical journey that feels both ethereal and grounded.
Endemica brings a different angle to Barac’s track on B2 while remaining firmly rooted in his aesthetic. Built around a subtle moment of suspense, the track unfolds with a more alert, sharpened energy that pushes the EP into a fresh final stride.
