One more new label, even if you already know the name. Off The Grid Records distribution now also has a label with the same name. For their first one, naturally, they gathered the people that are very close to them. And you, probably, understand how great they should be.
Ancut and Onirik are starting our parade of close friends with their opener “Mystified”. Bubbling but still laid back, with a strong kick and still dreamy pads. Just deep enough to still be considered a banger. Especially on its fourth minute (try it, you’ll understand what I mean).
Onirik continues the A-side by himself, offering us “Konzentrat” – one more deep piece, now without any banging qualities. Just a bit swingy build-up, little pieces of some interesting sounds and samples in the middle and also ending with the same delicate energy. Views is in charge of the B-side with that acidic/squelchy signature sound, you will probably always associate with that name. “Reyv” on B1 is just an example of that. And “Running Teeth” on the last position on the record is mixing a bit of hard euphoria into our sound cocktail.
