Norwegian artist Asgeir Giskegjerde, aka A:G, has become a permanent fixture in the world electronic community, as well as being a defining figure in his domestic Oslo scene. This has meant him taking a more defined role within the Det Gode Selskab collective, which has allowed both sides of the outfit to flourish. A man who wears many hats, A:G is just as prolific in the studio as he is behind the decks and with first-class additions to his discography in Partisan, Fresh Tunez, X2SEE, EYA, Det Gode Selskab, OsloGround, Subsequent and his recently started imprint Nocturnal Expeditions.
We now welcome A:G to our Free Download series, where he steps out with “Reverie”, a mystical roller that couples a forlorn synth and an acid bassline with perfectly weighted punchy grooves. As the track unfolds, so too does the 303 filter to reveal even more character and an added layer to the track. Easily deployed for building atmosphere on the dancefloor while maintaining that essential rhythm.
